How to use a hydraulic jack

The operating procedure for a hydraulic jack is as follows: First, ensure the jack is placed on a firm, flat surface to prevent tilting or sliding. Second, align the jack's lifting arm with the bottom of the object to be lifted, ensuring a stable contact point. Then, using a manual or electric pump, slowly apply pressure, causing the jack to gradually rise until the desired height is reached. During operation, be careful not to exceed the jack's rated load capacity to avoid equipment damage or safety accidents. After use, slowly release the pressure, safely lower the jack, and store it properly.

The working principle of a hydraulic jack is based on Pascal's principle, which uses the transmission of pressure through hydraulic fluid in a closed system to amplify force and lift objects. This type of jack is widely used in automotive repair, construction engineering, fire rescue, and other fields, and is favored for its simple operation and portability.

When using a hydraulic jack, pay special attention to the following:

1. Regularly check the quantity and quality of the hydraulic fluid to ensure there are no leaks;

2. Avoid using it in damp or corrosive environments to prevent rusting or damage;

3. When lifting heavy objects, ensure that no personnel are nearby to prevent accidents.
